Its actually not that old a house - built in 1993. But very little of what has been done in
since being built was done properly,* so we wanted to make it fresh for us.
*The best instance of this was the stairs, which they painted ... only as high as they could reach
so you could see a line of varying roller strokes all the way along. They didnt have a ladder.
We bought it as it was spacious and in a nice area (good school as well), and knew we would
have to spend a lot of time/effort to get it up to our standard of living.
As such I've been getting up at 5am and working to 8-9pm most nights.
On the plus side the reduced TV watching has cut my snacking and I've dropped 8 pounds in weight.
On the negative side, I've just paid off my credit card bill and it took me an hour to check and balance it.

So far we have painted:
Kitchen
Lounge
2 Bedrooms
Office
Hall/stairs inc gloss (nearly finished!)

Took out kitchen reinstalled kitchen with new sides, oven , hob and two sinks - I love cutting holes in worktops,
at least more than i do cleaning out the old pipes and plumbing in sinks!

Bathroom wasnt too bad only had to put up mirror, cupboard, loo holder shelves etc.

Office had another 3m kitchen worktop straight accross the end of the room for our three pcs plus loads of shelves.

Ripped up all the carpets , new carpets coming on Thursday.

Still got to rip out ensuite sink , shower , radiotor and move everything about.

New boiler being fitted on Monday/Tuesday.

Andrea and Erin have been staying at my mums, so they will be moving back in after the carpets.

Once all thats sorted, I can a sit down for a couple of days before I have to think about building a home for the cacti! :stars:

I still haven't got any decent inside pictures as we are still doing little bits.
But here is our new box :-)

It may need a bit of care and attention, but its all ours mostly owned by the bank.

You(and the bank) have a very nice 'box' :woot:

I already see where your computer-room is . . . behind that big greyish square(behind your car) :chin:
the walls probably covered with foam to absorb the little game noises :lollipop:

The garage is full of stuff ! No space in there.
I don't understand it. I used to have a 6x5 feet shed. The garage is 1 1/2 length plus 1 1/2 high with a sort
of mezzine storage area. AND ITS FULL ALREADY. I need to put more shelves and storage up to get everything off the floor.

Anyway the computer room is just about finished. Its spaggeti under the desk but it all works.
I just stuck a 3M piece of kitchen worktop from one wall to the other with plenty of brackets, it gives lots
of leg room and plenty of space for 3 of us to play in a row :yahoo:
Erin uses the laptop in the middle.

Not shown are all the books on one other wall plus the world map with red pins marking all the houses of FnG'ers
for when the revolution comes....

Hanno that looks great :)

Although, perhaps you and Mrs Hanno should be next to eachother, so when you kill steal from her Erin won't be caught in the cross fire of flying staplers and rulers

Unfortunately its usually erin doing killsteals and the uber looting.
My only concern with the new layout is that Erin's desk used to be at 90 degrees to me which made it easy for me to
see what she was upto on her screen. Now I can't as the angles wrong for the laptop screen...

If you class that as spaggeti I would hate to see what you'd class the mess of wires behind my desk as, everything is wrapped around each other twice.

Looks very proffesional Hanno (although a lamp shade wouldn't go amiss).

My computer area is literally in a cupboard so I can certainly only look on with envy.

I see, :chin: Erin is the lucky one being on the laptop, AND have control over the powerswitches at her feet
so you better allow her to 'kill-stealing', uber 1337 looting and all.

** Story-line **
Hanno and Erin playing Aion, :lollipop:
at some point Hanno's being mean to Erin,
he's kill-stealing and trying to uber outloot her, :skull:
but there is the mighty-enhanced-foot-controlled-powerswitch spell, :spruce:
AND POOOOFFF, Hanno is offline :cheerleader:
Erin has all the time to continue the uber looting :jester:
Ofcourse supported by => :sphinx-up:
** End of story ** :muaha:
