Interview with Kevin Shields - My Bloody Valentine

Postby [FnG] magnolia » Sat May 02, 2009 11:09 pm

Probably the defining moment of 90's music for many, certainly me, was the release of the "Loveless" album by My Bloody Valentine. As Kevin Shields points out in the interview, seldom have so many flowery words been used to describe what is essentially a distorted guitar with varying degrees of reverb, one and sometimes two female vocals, and a bassist and drummer.

If you have never heard of either the band or the album, I implore you to get a copy. If you don't like it - and you will, or should, love it - then pass it on to someone else.

A taster : To here knows when

An interview : Kevin Shields
Me? The 13th Duke of Wybourne? Here? In a sixth form girl's dormitory? At three o'clock in the morning? With my reputation? What were they thinking of?
