Re: The Great FnG Fantasy Football league – Fundesliga!
My trade for the week is pretty pointless. It's just a "free up some trash" trade.
Not the best week, but honestly... simply poor captain-picking. I had Hazard, Ivanovic, Baines and Michu... and I opted to (C) Van Persie. Oh well.

International break over (yay), GameWeek 8 is upon us! (also yay)
Do you know where your Belgian hair-do is? (Hint: not on the pitch)
'Tis the week for Kril to reclaim first place, methinks?
Have at you,

Huzzah! International breaks suck hairy goat testes.
Haven't made a transfer yet, and I'm not sure that I will. Decisions, decisions...

I can deal with this week. Mostly crappy, but better than I've been doing.
Let's chalk up another -8 to Kril, btw. I'm keeping count!

I'm a little slow out of the gate this week... but then again, I have all but one of my players tomorrow.

I mock and taunt you from my home here in first place![FDG]Sundae wrote:Let's chalk up another -8 to Kril, btw. I'm keeping count!

Well yes, but not by design, eh, Mr. Manager?[FDG]Sundae wrote:I have all but one of my players tomorrow
(I think Kacaniklic and Jenkinson were today...)
Better dust off that wildca— WHOOPS! sry.

______
Let's hear it for teh Berbinator!
Broken rib in first half, injection at half-time, smoke a couple fags, back in,
finishes out the 90 mins and scores a goal!

Another captain fail for me this week, but I'm feeling good about a nice batch of points rolling in tomorrow,

I'm still doing just fine over here.
(And in a way, be glad that my designs didn't pan out. That's 6 points I don't get on Jenkinson. :p)
It's a long game, and you'll blow your lead on stupid trades soon enough.

In spite of that, I can't much complain so far. 47 min into the game, RVP has proven a perfectly adequate captain.

Toot toot! All aboard the point-hit train.
Fifth yellow card for Rangel, any of you other saps who might have forgotten to get him off your team.
Ivanovic red-carded, too.
Thank you, Van Persie, for making up for my craptastic defenders.

Re: The Great FnG Fantasy Football league – Fundesliga!
Wow, crazy game at Stamford Bridge today! Surely Clattenburg for all three BPs?
NOTE: Ivanovic red card — professional foul, so only one match suspension, to be served in midweek Capital One Cup.
He'll be back for next gameweek vs Swansea. (Same for Torres, btw, if anyone has him)
Also a bit wild and crazy at Goodison Park this morning — Suarez robbed?
(Suarez' fantasy points are starting to call to me... NO! must ... not ...listen.
He picked up his fourth yellow today, one-match ban coming soon.)
Full house from my front line with everyone scoring this week (yay!), but question marks now
with Berba's ribs and Ba taken off with an ankle injury. Scout board folks are saying Pardew
says it's some kind of nerve damage. Not sure what that means. Need moar news!
Gaah! Perfect strike force, but 2 of 3 now injured?! Waaah.

Nihilist makin' me nervous, nippin' at my heels — hopefully boni will create a bit more separation,
--kril out--
P.S. @Sundae: I hear ya — never (ever) thought I'd be relieved to see my defense combine to score a single point.
Could've been worse — thank bog for Baines' assist.

Re: The Great FnG Fantasy Football league – Fundesliga!
Well, let's work it out then, since we're waiting for the press association to figure out the assist in the Arse game...
RvP, Berbasmoke, Cazorla, (whatsa) Mata, Baines
Cross 'em all off, since we both got 'em.
That leaves you with Suarez and maybe Cuellar likely to get bonus pts.
Leaves me with Bale, Ba and maybe Begovic likely to get boni... hmm
But how many each? This could still be a push.
Hang on a minute — hold the phone!
You had the same two goalies as me... and you started Jaaski?!
Begovic home against utterly toothless Sunderland (fewest chances created in the league by far),
vs West Ham on the road at (often) plucky/scrappy Wigan...?
And Jaaski completely off the boil, no CS since week 4.
What are you playing at? Are you trying to lose?
Who put you up to it? CONSPIRACY!!

The sound of a man who forgot how stupid the EA bonus points are!
(Ba will get some.)

I swapped the goalies but forgot to confirm...such is life.
Also, Suarez gets a goal and an assist and 0 bonus? I mean, REALLY?
