Wasn't able to join last night. Had to work till 9 and when I got home I spent 90 minutes looking for my V5 document for my current car and of course it was in the last place I looked (horrificly that place is less than a foot away from my PC ) But I should be back on as normal next week :panic:

To bad you couldn't make it, we really missed them knifes in our backs, no one else handles them itches like you do :chin:
Desmo is back and lucky for us his settings were a bit off, so instead of biting the bullet, we could deliver it

And I hate to point out that Lambiks game was off as well :D
I beat him 3 games in row 1 on 1 which makes a nice change! :brow:

But I'll have to pass that hack back to Mulp when he's back from hols.

I was NOT off, YOU were misplaced, you were not standing where I was shooting at :slaphead:

That's what this whole game is about I think, running arround to get in front of someones gun and get hit,
and Eve can't run that fast so he's slowing us down with a knive in our backs,
Desmo seems to be a bit deaf, as he has some weird alarm system called 'Claymores', that give him the sign 'We there!', and then he shoots us,
Mulp on the other hand doesn't want us to run as we only have to be at the end of his 'NoobTube-trail' {BaDaBOOM}
Ash has to slow down, as he out-runs them bullets,
Hanno normaly has the graps of this game best, except last week, when I finaly beat him in biting bullets

:star: Hurray for me :star:

Yes we still have at least four of us turning out on Wednesday evenings, normally a few more.
Me. Lambik, Mulp, Desmo, DesmoJnr, Ash, Cooks, Eve sometimes Yasmin and TimtheCarrot(Whats Tims forum name?).

Got to admit I was confused when the trollspeak started this week and then we had Jinx'd and Emu turn up as well -
it was nice to have some level 1 cannonfodder :-)

Well I like blackops - but with that server setup I cant convince anyone else to play :-( COD4 is still pretty good for a laugh though.

Is COD4 :skull: dead?

It seems there are fewer of us every week (unless other people are turning up after I pass out! :bedrime: )

Starting to find COD4 a little bit stale - same old maps etc - we have been playing nearly every weeks since Wed Apr 23, 2008 according to the thread...
And most of my fun is had from p*ssing about with you guys rather than playing the game if that makes sense.

Is anyone else interested in changing to a different fps for something new?
I know their is the problem of lack of dedicated servers and having to PAY (nasty word) to rent servers on most of the newer FPS.
And I'm definately not joyeous about playing on public servers.
I can contribute 50% to server rent for 6 months to see how it goes if enough other people are interested.

What games would people be interested in ? Black Ops, Battlefield 3???

I wouldn't say it was dead but we have played it for quite some time over the years.
I agree there do seem to be less and less of us with the passing months but as long as there's interest I'll be on every Wednesday. (missing 6 days a year due to work)
Maybe it is time to update and move on but the public servers will always be an issue to most of us, myself included, other people are a$$e$$ when it comes to playing online.
As far as FPSs go, COD4 is the only one I play so I have no idea what's out there and what's good these days.
So if anyone has any ideas I'm open to suggestions.

PS. I'm guessing the server's down as it keeps timing out :(

Not sure what happened wednesday. I was logged on to TS3 at 7pm but as no one else came on
and because I had finished a very large whiskey, I logged off again at 8.05pm - I didnt bother to see if the server was up.

I am currently absent without thumb - thanks to a slip and a stanley knife I spent two hours at the hospital gettingit stuck back together on Wednesday
COD time. I'll see how it is next week, in the meantime I am staring at my copy of BF3 wondering if I can play without a thumb and therefore JUMP key....
