Re: CoD4 night
I'll try and be back into the game for an hour or two tonight as well.
I unwrapped my thumb this morning, looked at it , ' keeled over' and decided to put a new bandage on for another week.

Opps
I had a little child problem at 6.30pm and by the time I'd sorted it out , I'd forgotten it was Wednesday, thinking it was Tuesday.
I remembered this morning when I woke up
(I'd actually been dreaming that we had
a full server , with Lilly Sphinx and all the other part timers turning up)
and thought - goody its COD night tonight. DOH!

Emm isn't it wednesday today?
Edit: Opps. Its Friday?
Edit2: I'll forgive you not being there as I wasn't there either. I normally have wednesday off work
but as there was a School strike on , I decided to have wednesday at work and take Erin with me,
as this seemed the lesser of the two evils. Plus she's getting pretty good at writing up orders
and typing invoices - my actually commented that my handwriting was improved!
Anyway, I didnt know what day it was either.

So as we've all been undecided on what game to get next I've made my choice of Battlefield 3, after playing MW3 on the Xbox with my friend I knew it wasn't that great of a game, so I should have it in the next couple of days

Hope you got the return to Karkeland expansion as well

Let me know when you have it, and i'll team up with you with TS – at least with a buddy watching my back I might survive
more than 2 seconds after my respawn. I had a go at this yesterday (after 2-3 weeks off) and got slaughtered,
but on some of the new maps the respawn seem particually bad – I must have died 5 respawns in a row at one point.
Of course it might just have been some gittish tweenager camping the respawn spot.
Anyway it's still a mighty good game, and I'll definitely be up for some games over xmas if you're about.

Didn't know there was an expansion
only got the "normal" edition so I'll carry on with the standard stuff for now and see how it goes.

NP makes sense if you dont like it dont bother

I dont mind sticking with the older maps though, and theres a few coop missions on the standard game that would be nice to have someone to have a go with.

Ow £12 for 4 extra maps / extra guns does seem a bit steep.

Exactly and theres no doubt going to be more expensive DLC to come as well, just have to play it and see what its like.

Re: CoD4 night
RIP
COD$ Night which at least for the near future will now be known as BF3 night.
Of this does not having the same ring to it as when I used to tell Andrea "I'm Codding tonight" ,
I mean "I'm Bfing tonight" has different connotations....
