So far those at work have been split 50/50, so even they're not taken with it just yet.
I might be getting a copy of it for the xbox on monday so will wait and see just how well it plays.

I still cant see the point of XBOX fps games, where you have to buy adifferent control just to be able to shoot properly.
Give me a keyboard and mouse anyday!

IMO Black Ops campaign was good fun...

BO multiplayer is ok but it just doesnt seem to be as fluid as COD4. I also seem to have problems seeing opponents on maps as they tend to blend too much into the backgrounds, maybe this was intentional dunno but its a pain for me [im old you know]. There also something wrong with the balance of things although it escapes my feeble mind at present. It all seems very overcrowded and spammy compare to MW. Dont even get me started with the bloody spawn killas...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Im trying though :P

I couldnt get on with the campaign, solo play just doesnt interest me.

I'm liking the multiplayer though I can see what you mean about spammy.
18 people on some of those maps is just too much and all servers are set to max peeps.

I find the game a bit smoother/faster than COD4 which is good from my point, although I do
know what you mean about the camoflage outfits working too well.

I love the guns/knives/perks etc and that set up seems good.
Also I like the custom signitures you can put together as well.
Over all the cash/xp havign to buy guns makes it more interesting than automatically getting stuff.

Over all really liking it , I could just do with some FnG people to shoot rather than random looneys!

MY steam name appears to be blackrook , assuming that cod uses the same name for friends.

So is anyone else getting black ops in their xmas stocking or have they requested a Woman in Stockings instead? :cheerleader:

I'm still loving this and predict I will spending a few Xmas hours hiding in my office hiding from the Family...

Just gone back to playing this after a month or two on other things.
Got to say, coming back to it - I now like it more than COD4 mainly due to the variety of weapons.
In COD4 I tend to stick to the same 3 or 4 weapon setups - in black ops there are just more options.

Plus it is prettier ,downside is the public server issue still.

Surprised more people in FnG haven't got it to try.

Dam fiddly Xbox controllers make the game harder than its needs to be :gripe:

I play once or twice a month when I'm at me mates, it is good but the public servers and lag at times is a bit meh :panic:

I've got hairs growing out of my ears now which makes me officially too old to buy one of these new fangled xbox thingies.

On the same note I won't be buying a tablet computer which can't do half the stuff my laptop can do either....
