We now have a page on the Steam Community. It can be whatever we decide to make of it ... right now, it's a Group you can join (at http://steamcommunity.com/groups/fun-n-games), and a link to our forums.

We've discussed some of the "Other Games" available on Steam: CS, Civ, Quake Wars ... etc. This is a place to meet up, if and when we do so.

Enjoy!

I signed up too, the only Steam game I have now is Race. But if you haven't seen the TF2 intro videos on there (or other places I'm sure) you can download HD versions from the My Media section, so far I've seen the Engineer and Heavy ones and they're truly LOLs. Had to try to keep my laughter to a minimum to make sure my family didn't think I was insane laughing to the maniacal Russian dude as he wields "Sasha".

"Oh, and yeah, oomska's the new PotW, mostly because I don't even know who the heck he is! Hopefully not an investigative reporter hell-bent on exposing gaming clans for tax evasion. Oh heck, what am I thinking? THERE ARE NO MORE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTERS! MWAHAHAHA!!! "

Woot!

Yeah, we have a lively community! We put glaciers to shame, for sure!

OK, seriously, sorry about my not being around much in general (I think I have logged something like 0.2 hours of TF2 in the last 2 weeks, per my Steam stats), and not doing much at all with the Steam thing. But I think we're OK as is, considering FnG is mainly a UT-based social grouping with a big helping of Guild Wars and a little counter-culture of WoW for seasoning: None of which are Steam games. Ergo, our Steam Community is really like a little creme brulee. Small and sweet.

But having said that: Should we try to get a FF night going with the FDGies? They have a server up & running at least some of the time. Or we could crash a TF2 server. Just some ideas. Build it, and see if they'll come.

Anybody who's hung around the forums enough to get the tag is perfectly welcome to become an officer, or leader -- just let me know.

I think we should just crash a public server for some TF2 first, I think FF might be a little more serious mod, although I'm sure the Fudgies would give us many tips and be patient as we learned.

Had 4 or 5 awesome games with ever tonight. The man sure plays a mean medic!

It would be great if some of you guys want to get involved on a semi-regular/casual basis.

We don't call him NHS Everlong for nothing, y'know ;)

I plan on getting the orange box, and I'd love to jump in, but after a couple of bass injuries & wanting to upgrade, not sure where that leaves me. Hmm...

Thanks for recommending me Jules, but I've already had my turn ;)

And I should have Orange Box by the end of the week, which means I should be on steam a bit more often :)
