Cute ALERT!!!! open at your own risk

Postby [FnG] RampantBunny » Sat Dec 11, 2010 2:24 am

The kittens have arrived..They spend an hour exploring teh living real shy (cleaning all the undersides of my cupboards) then fel a sleep on the chairs tucked right under the dining table.

So i used that moment to take em up stairs and show em their kitty room...the rest is history :D

Meet salmiak and Nietwit (aka Bookah en Rampy)

I like cats, there are a number of great recipes for them espeically if you get them when they are still young and tender... :brow:

Just for the record - I don't recommend doing a search for 'best way to bake a cat'
It's can be a bit disturbing....

I sure am :D i had to wait way to long LOL.

They have the run of the house now (except the bedroom (never) and the office (when im not home)) and seem perfectly comfortable with it. Now started to get them into a foodroutine cos its obvious "nitwit" will become very fat very quick if i don't.

The first day I introduced them to the kittenroom and from that day on the retire themselfs to it around 10-11 PM :lmao: . it's fun to see how different their characters are already. Salmiak (booka :P ) is the most curious and brave one, till he over does it then he calls for his brother...who usually comes running. Nitwit is the more cuddly one of the 2 but is less brave. Not sure who will turn out to be the leader of the pack, but i suspect Booka...though is is way smaller then his brother ....but regularly does a flying tackle on him

A food routine? You have mounted a water sprayer on a timer and a scale which weighs the amount of food eaten and goes *PSSSH!* when a threshold is reached? Sounds something like I would do...

Either that, or you just don't fill the bowl to capacity, of course... But that would be such a simple solution.

Anyway, I'm glad that they are feeling quite at home. Not that I'd ever expected otherwise
With kind regards, Mathijs

 I had been wondering how to make the supersoaker triggering one time but indeed scales will do, of course ill need to since it's two bowls, but thats not a biggie.

De soaker does have quite splash so it will be tricly to get the aim right on the targetted kitten of choice...on the other hand ..let's call it collateral damage shall we

(what i of course meant was getting them to eat out of their own bowls and set moments of the day...which already seems to have worked since Bookah (the smalles one) always eats out of the left one and will just push Nitwit away who will *sigh* and go to the other bowl.)

PS:on a side note Nitwit has now discovered he can climb onto a lap and from there on to a shoulder
PS2: This morning the robot vacuum stood idle in the middle of the room..i suspect it got pounced... :?:

And now cos I can ... more cute...or not erm actually always
