Snowmageddon

Postby [FnG] Torgo 3000 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 2:35 pm

We got about 3 feet of snow overnight. Drifts half-way up the front and side doors. It's like the friggin' Shiverpeaks, but without the peaks.

I have a shovel by the side door, but I have to use tooth and nail to get to it. If you never hear from me again, then I never made it out of the house. Feel free to divide my ectos, shards and z-keys between you.

Torgo, I am sure you hate the snow, but we would love 3 feet of snow overnight

Hope you have enough food etc to tide you over.

I almost bought a snow blower this year, but I thought, "that's a lot of money, and we haven't had that much snow in years past." So I've been shoveling the three feet of snow we've gotten so far this winter. My back has been sore for a solid month.
I'M TOO OLD FOR THIS :greyguy:

OMG, there's just no training/exercise to prevent a sore back from shoveling snow. More ugh with age.
We lost a week of school (five days in a row) here 30 miles south of Atlanta due to snow and ice in January.

It probably wont help to tell you that it was so mild here (South Coast of the UK) that I was out in a Teeshirt this weekend! :waving:
Although saying that - it is piddling down with rain and windy this morning
