After 20 years. . . .

Postby [FnG] Yasmin » Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:09 pm

This winter Lambik and I did something I wanted to do since I was 16-17 yrs old.
Getting my Motorbike licence :D
After my car licence other stuff was more important, ( read: getting married, buying house, kids )but I always kept dreaming.

So after lessons in the rain :umbrella: , with snow we passed our exam in januari :yahoo: , was freakin cold -5 dragees
but now spring is here and we're all ready :rockin:
Lambiks bike is in the front, mine the red one in the back
Both Yamaha Dragstars, called V-star in the US.

Excellent Yasmin!! However, you have missed out the important stuff!

How big is the engine?

How fast does it go?

How fast does it accelerate 0-100km/h?

lol most important part is how they look . . . .see pic :P
How big is the engine?

My bike is a 650cc and Lambik bike 1100cc ,so his bike got a bit more power
Maybe i'll go for a 1100cc someday but for now i'm very happy , enough to get some xp with driving
and handling the bike :D

How fast does it go?

Erm  no idea but some mention on it can go 165 km an hour
dont think i'm gonna try that

How fast does it accelerate 0-100km/h?

I really dont know :lmao: but I do know that they are not build for
high speed, maybe Lambik knows :cheerleader:

It does 0 to 100 km/h while drinking a cup of tea :lollipop:

My brother 'FnG Obelix' is also riding a motorbike, although I have NOT seen him driving arround like this :

Congratz to you two motorcycle enthusiasts.
Although I'm torn — I'm happy for you, but now I have to worry about Yasmin or Lambik getting hurt. :(
Please make sure you stay out of harm's way, and take no unnecessary risks.

@Sfinkz: that cop is on his way to get a doughnut, clearly...

:worship:

of course the biggest question is not how fast it goes now...it's how fast you can make it go  ...lets start with some nox (assuming it hasn't got a turbo...yet)

Well done and what nice and shiney bikes!

So how much bribery will it take to make Tim polish all the chrome for you every weekend?

Be safe - remember every other driver on the road is a lunatic  and out to get you (probably including Lambik!)

I don't think I would dare go on a motorbike in this country as there are far too many cars per mile of road.

Congrats! :yahoo:
I plan to have another go at getting my motorcycle license as well this year. Tried a few years back, but after a failed exam never got around to trying it again before the other exam's expiry date passed. So I'll have to start over, but hopefully not with temps around freezing... :P
Very nice set of wheels. A cruiser is a very good looking type of motorcycle in my opinion, I'd like to get my hands on one as well when I've got the papers for it.
