That looks lovely, Hanno! You obviously found better weather than we're having - I don't think it's stopped raining for more than a few hours for weeks now. We've both got bad outbreaks of rust ......

I know the feeling. Wettest june, july and now looking for wettest August here.
We had about 3 days of sunny weather, and 4 days of clouds/drissle. Not bad for scotland really...

With kind regards, Mathijs

Ah, OK, I see what you mean, Paws. :D (Followed this from the 'I miss the old days' thread as per your suggestion ...) What a lovely pair of bairns. I have to wonder about one thing, though .... ALL your genes? I remember seeing a pic of Mrs Paws, so I don't think you can take any of the credit!! :lmao:

Maybe, possibly .... if Spinksy can find his copy of UT .... keep your fingers crossed.

Hello - back from our annual haul up to Scotland.

640 miles each way - 11h30 on the way up 13h10 on the way down thanks to jams on the M6/M5.

Plenty of walks with the odd bathful of rain and we even saw sunshine and let Erin play on the beach:

Oh my word! Thirteen hours IS a long haul indeed. At least you had a good time, and that's all that matters at the end of the day. :D

I guess I could've said 'hi' from East Midlands Airport last week, but I didn't have a pc at the time, and I can't say it's the most exciting place on the planet!! :lmao:

Does it have duty free? In fact does duty free still exist, so long since I've been on a hairyplane.

You know, guys, that's a good question ..... :chin: I'm not sure. I spent more time cursing the constant interruptions when I was trying to read than actually listening to what they were attempting to sell me! I think it was more along the lines of breakfast than Duty Free, though!

MMMmmm BREAKFAST....
I have to admit I had lovely homemade chocolate cake for breakfast when I was on holiday
...with yogurt on top to make it healthy!

But since coming back I have managed to get my weight down to under 11stone.
