It was a beautiful Sunday morning yesterday - so in the spirit of getting fresh air we went to the beach:

Perfect not another person (or Pokémon) in sight :) in either direction.

Helps that's its a about 1mile walk from the carpark as its odd the amount of people who won't walk further than
they can spit from their cars. We did see a couple of people coming down as we left about 11am but I think we go the best of it.

Nice, didnt know you lived that close to the beach.
Regarding the pokemon. I have this feeling you werent equiped to actually see them. I would have said the place might have been swarming with them but then there would be load of catchers too xD

Have I already moaned enough about the 13h30 drive, and some miflting Scot (points at Bawsy)
hiding the signposts and so getting lost at roadworks at Glasgow?

Looks fun.
Although I admit seeing that red barn made me look behind myself, frightened of getting a sudden overdose of dog.....

Pretty places guys, actually those shrubs or bush, whatever you wanna call them, from Hanno his pictures, we got some quite similar ones here. Though we dont have that much elevation here.

In the picture of both of us in, its Heather (pink/purple flowers), but there is a lot of gorse (with yellow flowers) around as well.
It's nearly the same landscape up in Scotland 600miles away as it is on Dartmoor 10 miles away from us. But less people which is nice.
Also the bilberries but they seem to fruit better in Scotland, nice for midwalk snacks (along with the crisps and chocolate)

Small country, Hanno.
We were in Dornoch ourselves not that long ago when we went on a little motorhome tour of all the 'midgiest' places in Scotland... :)

*phew, near miss avoided*

We hardly saw any midges this year. Its normally not as bad on the East coast compared the west as its much drier.
Rain fall for us in Devon is about twice that than my Dad gets up there. His house is just from the Glenmorangie Distillery,
and looks out over Dornoch Firth.
