Lego Indiana Jones

Postby [FnG] Cooks » Sun Jun 08, 2008 11:38 am

Anyone played this yet? It's out on all systems, I've just ordered my copy for the PC for £15, bargain!

I've played the lego star wars games, and they're excellent... Great fun, detailed, smooth... One of my top games :) The co-op is done really well too - people can just drop in or out at any time, not like most where you've got to start again for a 2 player campaign, then wait for a friend to come back round to play it....

So far I've heard that this ones even better, so I can't wait :D Anyone else getting it for PC? Could maybe do some co-op.... :)

Edit: Just found out there's a demo, downloading it now... :)

Great fun! Controls are a bit awkard, needing both hands on the keyboard (though I guess you could bind them to your mouse), but you can have two players on one keyboard. I grabbed one screenshot.... :)

I laughed at that bit too :D Turns out he's trying to trick them with it, the bad guy starts walking around like a robot laughing, then he pulls out the idol :lmao:

I tried the demo too, it's a lot of fun, it's Indiana Jones with three spoons full of more humor in Lego style :P

And the C3PO head is probably a left over from the previous LEGO game, Lego Star Wars ;)

I haven't seen it in stock anywhere, I thought PC version wasn't out yet. But got an email this morning, dispatched :) I might as well go pick it up, their warehouse is 15 minutes away...

Luckily you can't really die, because it doesn't always control beautifully..., camera is a bit shabby...

I will be buying this under the pretence it is for Jake. And just like with Lego Star Wars, the poor wee man wont get a look-in :)

I am having GREAT fun with this. Unfortunately, my PS2 controllers (with a PS2-USB adapter) dont seem to be compatible with it, which means I have to use the keys.

I have no problem with this, but it does mean Jake can only watch, where I was hoping he'd be able to join in this time. Ah well, he still enjoys it :)

He's right into Indiana Jones at the moment, so much so that I call him Indiana Jake. He's watched the first 3 films on DVD with me, and you should have seen his face at the "banquet" scene in Temple Of Doom. He also now pretends to cut every bridge we cross in half. Most amusing!! :)

Bawsy, you can have two folks on one keyboard - one uses the WASD etc, the other uses the numpad & arrow keys I think. A bit confusing though...

Or check out the other thread I started on gamepads, I picked up a logitech rumblepad for £15 :)

Game is great fun! Lots of small details over Star Wars, I'm gonna go play it now... :)
