The borderlands game peeked my interest, I was meant to get Watch Dogs with the PS4 last year so I'll probably pick it up when it's cheaper for it, £50-60 a pop means its an expensive as hell console.
Having at look at "comming-soon" charts there's very little that actually peeks my interest

There is a new video showing some of the multiplayer parts of watchdogs here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUIowUR4r0o#t=538
Looks sort of fun.
Eve you know it will be better on the PC as well as cheaper!
Assuming the PC version comes at the same time.

Watch dogs is looking really good, think I'll have to pick that one up
Had no idea there was going to be a borderlands prequel, I heard a while back that gearbox were working on some new IP and wouldn't be touching the borderlands series for a while!

Re: Games to watch out for in 2014
Not sure about H1z1 - I like survival games but it could just become another 'how to be a bastard' simulator like DayZ and Rust,
especially because its free to play it might attract too many 10 year olds.
Next car game - sort of looks interesting.
Carmageddon - I remember the original fondly but not sure you can go back there - not sure its politically correct

Re both Rust/H1Z1/DAyZ/GTA and carmageddon - I think I would like more systems involved in games
which encourage social responsibility rather than being a bastard and killing other people /civilian npcs.
Yes let the player do 'bad' things, but find a way to penalise them - I don't think the freedom to kill and maim even in
games should be taken lightly enough to just ignore it without consequences. Okay against soldiers/aliens/zombies but not civs.
EG back in the UO days , PK'ers (Playerkillers) became red after a couple of murders (with a cool down in days)
Other people could kill them without penalty , and guards in towns etc attacked them on sight. Think there was also
a bounty system on them as well.

Just noticed that NEXT car game is only single player.
Engine looks gorgeous but what's the point unless you can ram your friends?

It said it on the main steam page

But I still like the look of 'the crews' open plan racing as well.

Will need to check it out.
I remember the original fondly back in the good old days ... 1992 when Duke Nuken was 2D and worth playing as well.
