Ark: Survival Evolved.

The place to talk about any other games that the clan doesn't currently play or just the place to talk about other games in general.

Not sure if any one else was playing this but Lambik , Eve and myself are having another hack at it as there
has been a new map released:

Might even tell you the IP address for the server if you ask nicely :stars:

Hiya,

The server is running, but I have not yet been able to test it myself, so fingers crossed.

home=46.4.58.150
port=8888
passwd=FnG

I will be there later on today.

Making the 'bloom' and 'light shafts' permanent changed in ARK, so you don't have to set it manualy every time you start the game.
[ http://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/di ... 1427613050 ]

Basically I have done the following

Folder location:
\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

Add this anywhere in Engine.ini

Code: Select all

[SystemSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.Bloom=False ; Allow editing of bloom
r.BloomQuality=0
r.LightShafts=0

Add this to Scalability.ini

Code: Select all

; Fix for medium textures unloading
[TextureQuality@1]
r.Streaming.PoolSize=1350

; Allow ingame options to save without resetting bloom
[PostProcessQuality@0]
r.BloomQuality=0
r.LightShafts=0
r.LightShaftQuality=0
r.LensFlareQuality=0

[PostProcessQuality@1]
r.BloomQuality=0
r.LightShafts=0
r.LightShaftQuality=0
r.LensFlareQuality=0

[PostProcessQuality@2]
r.BloomQuality=0
r.LightShafts=0
r.LightShaftQuality=0
r.LensFlareQuality=0

[PostProcessQuality@3]
r.BloomQuality=0
r.LightShafts=0
r.LightShaftQuality=0
r.LensFlareQuality=0

The following link might be useful if things are not quite working as they should be.
I do NOT recommend downloading any thing from that site !!! Tools like those are often 'crap-ware' ;)
Just follow the hints(12x) and try which ever might seem right to your need.
